Heterogeneous Analysis and Verification for Distributed Systems

چکیده
In this paper we present an environment for the development of special purpose heterogeneous analysis and veriication tools, which is unique in 1) constituting a framework for the development of application speciic heterogeneous tools and 2) providing facilities for the automation of the synthesis process. Based on a speciication language that uniformly combines taxonomic component speciications, interface conditions, and ordering constraints, our method adds a global view to conventional single component retrieval. Following a user session, we illustrate the interactive synthesis process, which supports the inclusion of a satisfactory new software component into the repository by proposing an appropriately precomputed default taxonomic classiication. This guarantees convenient retrieval for later reuse. 1 Motivation To master the complexity and variety of system-level distributed system designs exi-ble environments are required, which eeciently support automation, `design in the large' strategies and teamwork. In particular, several, drastically diierent methodologies must be available in order to allow an application speciic treatment of problems. Unfortunately , existing systems provide only few tools and alternatives, and the inclusion of new tools into the system is quite a hard task due to the limited support for application spe-ciic tool selection or development. Particularly bound to a rich variety of approaches is the successful applicability of analysis and veriication techniques to attack complex problems of practical relevance. Analysis and veriication tools like the ones presented 1

Adaptive Distributed Consensus Control for a Class of Heterogeneous and Uncertain Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems
This paper has been devoted to the design of a distributed consensus control for a class of uncertain nonlinear multi-agent systems in the strict-feedback form. The communication between the agents has been described by a directed graph. Radial-basis function neural networks have been used for the approximation of the uncertain and heterogeneous dynamics of the followers as well as the effect o...
متن کاملA new Shuffled Genetic-based Task Scheduling Algorithm in Heterogeneous Distributed Systems
Distributed systems such as Grid- and Cloud Computing provision web services to their users in all of the world. One of the most important concerns which service providers encounter is to handle total cost of ownership (TCO). The large part of TCO is related to power consumption due to inefficient resource management. Task scheduling module as a key component can has drastic impact on both user...
متن کاملHybrid Meta-heuristic Algorithm for Task Assignment Problem
Task assignment problem (TAP) involves assigning a number of tasks to a number of processors in distributed computing systems and its objective is to minimize the sum of the total execution and communication costs, subject to all of the resource constraints. TAP is a combinatorial optimization problem and NP-complete. This paper proposes a hybrid meta-heuristic algorithm for solving TAP in a ...
متن کاملPoint Dose Measurement for Verification of Treatment Planning System using an Indigenous Heterogeneous Pelvis Phantom for Clarkson, Convolution, Superposition, and Fast Superposition Algorithms
Background: Nowadays, advanced radiotherapy equipment includes algorithms to calculate dose. The verification of the calculated doses is important to achieve accurate results. Mostly homogeneous dosimetric phantoms are available commercially which do not mimic the actual patient anatomy; therefore, an indigenous heterogeneous pelvic phantom mimicking actual human pelvic region has been used to ...
متن کاملThe First Stage of a System Verification Strategy for API-Calculus
Researchers are giving increasing attention to software agents for implementation of high performance distributed applications. However, the complexity of such applications could be enormous owing to the distributed and non-deterministic nature of such systems. API-Calculus, a variant of PICalculus, is a powerful formal modeling tool for design and analysis of mobile agent systems. However, API...
متن کاملDesign of homogeneous and heterogeneous human equivalent thorax phantom for tissue inhomogeneity dose correction using TLD and TPS measurements
Background: The purpose of this study is to fabricate inexpensive in-house low cost homogeneous and heterogeneous human equivalent thorax phantom and assess the dose accuracy of the Treatment Planning Systems (TPS) calculated values for different lung treatment dosimetery. It is compared with Thermoluminescent Dosimeter (TLD) measurement. Materials and Methods: Homogeneous and heterogeneous tho...
